About Us
Dr Luis Paxton
Dr Luis Paxton is the founder of Hills Travel Clinic. He is a general practitioner with a special interest in travel medicine. Luis grew up in Sydney and attended the Australian National University in Canberra where he received his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery qualifications. He now calls the Adelaide Hills home with his wife and young family, and looks forward to taking them around the world in the future.
Luis is a Member of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine’s Faculty of Travel Medicine, and has undertaken further studies in Travel Medicine at James Cook University, one of Australia’s pre-eminent Tropical Medicine institutions.
Luis loves meeting both new and seasoned travellers to hear about their travel plans and provide tailored medical advice so they can stay safe on their travels.
The Clinic
Dr Paxton runs Hills Travel Clinic in addition to his general practice services at Littlehampton Medical Centre, which is a well-established general practice in the Adelaide Hills. The practice kindly provides nursing and administrative support for Hills Travel Clinic.
